Engagement Tracks

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome contributions across five specialized engagement categories:

Medical Professionals

Doctors • Nurses • Paramedics

Lead diagnostic screenings, blood pressure checks, diabetes monitoring, and basic rural health awareness sessions during weekend camps.

Commitment: 1-2 weekend camps / month
Location: Field (Karnataka, AP, TN)

Mental-Health Professionals

Counsellors • Psychologists • MSWs

Facilitate non-clinical community listening circles, conduct adolescent stress workshops, and advise field teams on trauma sensitivity.

Commitment: 4-6 hours / month
Location: Field or Hybrid Remote

Educators & Tutors

Teachers • Tutors • College Mentors

Teach foundational reading, regional phonics, and basic arithmetic in after-school remedial circles; conduct adult literacy classes.

Commitment: 3-5 hours / week
Location: Village Learning Centers

Community Coordinators

Field Volunteers • Event Coordinators

Assist in village camp logistics, liaise with panchayat elders, coordinate volunteer transportation, and manage community registrations.

Commitment: Flexible / Event-based
Location: Karnataka, AP, Tamil Nadu

Digital & Creative

Content Writers • Designers • Media

Design educational infographics, document field narratives, manage digital outreach, and help format quarterly impact reports.

Commitment: 2-4 hours / week
Location: Fully Remote

Application Submission

Submit your profile and specific area of interest using the volunteer application form.

Orientation & Background Vetting

A brief conversation with our coordinator to verify credentials and ensure alignment with our values.

Safeguarding & Code of Conduct Briefing

Review and sign our Child Protection, Anti-Discrimination, and Field Safety policies.

Field Deployment

Assigned to an active camp cohort or remote task group with experienced mentor oversight.

Zero-Tolerance Protection Policy

All KCG Trust volunteers must conduct themselves with absolute integrity, compassion, and respect for community customs. Volunteers must strictly uphold:

  • Child Protection: Never conduct private one-on-one sessions without adult supervision; maintain open learning environments.
  • Community Dignity: Treat every villager with honor; avoid unsolicited photography or condescending behavior.
  • No Commercial or Political Solicitation: Strictly neutral humanitarian engagement free of ideological, religious, or commercial lobbying.
  • Data Privacy: Protecting health screening records and personal contact details of all beneficiaries.
